If HDD/SSD SATA drive is connected through USB adapter, BCWipe TWO will detect the drive, provide the proper information about the drive and be able to wipe it.
However, there is the limitation: firmware commands like Secure Erase/Sanitize cannot be performed.
To run a firmware-based command, the drive must be connected directly to SATA interface.
It is strongly not recommended to try to launch Secure Erase on USB-connected drive as it could potentially corrupt the drive!
