There is a fast and convenient way to encrypt your folders with BestCrypt Container Encryption.

BestCrypt Folder Encryption functions in the same way as BestCrypt containers. But the overall experience is more fluent for an inexperienced user.

Note: Make sure that you have enough disk space to copy the contents of your folder into the encrypted BestCrypt folder.

Simply right-click on your folder and select the option to Encrypt with BestCrypt:

You will see the familiar interface with the same Advanced Settings that you can set for a normal container:

After setting the desired password, generate the seed value, and BestCrypt will create an encrypted folder file with the .bcf extension.

An encrypted folder will be mounted to the folder with the same name and your files will be copied there and wiped afterward (no unencrypted traces of the files will be left on disk).

You can dismount the folder via the tray icon or control panel and mount it by double-clicking.

Note: You can move the encrypted folder inside the volume where it is placed but copying or moving the folder to another volume or disk will disable the folder's dynamic properties (same way as a container).
