Does BestCrypt contain any backdoor?

Modified on Wed, 22 Nov, 2017 at 2:09 PM

Our company is located in Finland and we are not obligated by any Finnish (and of course, by other countries too)  governmental structure to insert backdoors to our encryption software.

Neither we, nor someone else can decrypt your data, stored inside BestCrypt container or volume ( if you have a 'good' password, this is another subject).

Jetico has been working on the market for more than 20 years and it would not be  wise to risk our good reputation.

It is hardly possible to provide some guarantees, except of opening our source codes.

Due to recent demand, our source codes for all encryption modules (BestCrypt Development Kit) are now available for download:

To keep your security, we recommend to follow  the advices of cryptology  expert Bruce Schneier.
